Sounds - Rock & Roll

Here are some samples of rock and roll guitar parts which I've recorded for a variety of cds.

R&R Rhythm - Open G tuned "Stonesy" rhythm from "Tomonga Street", a track off Mambo Sons first cd.

Electric Lead - In D minor, this is the solo from a track called "The Early Train", and is the sound of an old Strat through a Vox AC30.

Electric Twelve String Rhythm - Byrds-y twelve string part from a song called "What You Got."

Electric Twelve String Rhythm - Beatle-y twelve string part from "Our Time Is Getting Closer."

R&R Rhythm - Open G tuned "Stonesy" rhythm from "I Get Around Too Much", a track off Mambo Sons second cd.

Heavy Electric Lead - This is about as "shreddy" as I get, from a song called "The Devil's Kin", sort of a headbanging track.

Electric Melody Lead - This track is using an effect called an E-bow, which is a sustainer.

Electric Lead - Here's a solo on "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" which I recorded for Glen Carroll's cover of this Bob Dylan track.
